FAQ
We’ve answered some of the questions doctors ask most before joining Wawkins Academy.
-
Who is this programme for?
Our programmes are designed for doctors preparing for the MRCGP SCA who want to build confident, adaptable consultation skills for both the exam and everyday general practice.
-
Which programme is right for me?
Our Complete SCA Success Programme is recommended for most doctors, as it combines the live masterclass with personalised one-to-one mock consultations. If you only need group teaching or focused mock practice, our other programmes may be a better fit.
-
How long will I have access to the course?
All programmes include 3 months of access from the date of enrolment. This provides sufficient time to attend sessions, review resources and consolidate your learning.
-
Are the live sessions recorded?
Yes. Live masterclasses are recorded and made available to learners enrolled in eligible programmes. Recordings can be accessed during your 3-month course access period, which begins on your date of enrolment. While recordings are available for revision, we strongly encourage learners to attend the live sessions, as active participation, discussion and real-time interaction provide the best learning experience.
-
Can I book a free 20-minute enquiry call before enrolling?
Yes. We offer an optional 20-minute enquiry call to discuss your learning needs, answer your questions and help you choose the most suitable programme.
-
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
As our programmes include immediate access to course materials and limited places for live teaching, fees are generally non-refundable once your enrolment has been confirmed. If you have exceptional circumstances, please contact our administration team and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
-
Can I access my course on multiple devices or share my account with someone else?
Yes, you may access your account on your own devices, such as your phone, tablet and computer. However, each enrolment is for one individual only. Your account and course access are personal and must not be shared with others. Unauthorised sharing of login credentials or course content may result in suspension or termination of access without a refund.

What makes Wawkins Academy different?
Rather than teaching doctors to memorise cases, we focus on a structured consultation framework that can be adapted across a wide range of GP presentations. Through practical teaching, realistic scenarios and personalised feedback, our goal is to help you become a confident, adaptable GP communicator.
